Arc Wrist Tower

The Acumed Arc Wrist Tower is designed to provide stable traction of the patient’s forearm and hand, allowing unrestricted access to the wrist during arthroscopic and fracture-reduction procedures. The support arm swivels 180-degrees about the patient’s elbow and forearm, allowing for fluoroscopic imaging from any angle.

Case Study

The case study of a 21-year-old college football player, a patient of William Geissler, Professor and Chief, Division of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery, University of Mississippi Medical Center, demonstrates how the Acumed ARC Wrist Traction Tower provides traction of the wrist during arthroscopic examination of the scaphoid nonunion and associated soft tissues—and can then be rotated down horizontally to aid in the percutaneous reduction of the nonunion.
